Dental Hygiene at a Glance

Discover what great dental hygiene can do for you.

Professional Deep Clean

Our hygienists provide thorough cleaning that goes beyond what regular brushing can achieve. It is gentle, comfortable and completely pain-free.

Stain & Tartar Removal

Our hygienists effectively remove built-up tartar and surface stains that accumulate over time, leaving your teeth fresh and clean after one visit.

Gum Disease Prevention

Regular hygienist visits remove tartar before it builds up below the gumline, preventing inflammation and gum disease and protecting your teeth and oral health long term.

ADVANCED HYGIENE

Airflow Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT)

Ready to upgrade your hygiene appointment?

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), developed in Switzerland, is the gold standard dental hygiene. Unlike traditional scale and polish, GBT uses an advanced Swiss AirFlow® technology using a combination of warm water, soft powder and air to gently remove Biofilm (plaque bacteria), stains that traditional scaling and polishing fail to remove and calculus (tartar). This treatment provides a faster, more comfortable, and highly effective hygiene experience.

UNDERSTANDING DENTAL HYGIENE

What Is a Dental
Hygiene Appointment?

A hygiene consultation is a professional dental clean carried out by a qualified hygienist, removing what your toothbrush simply cannot reach. Plaque and tartar build up naturally over time, and once tartar hardens on the teeth and under the gumline, it can only be removed professionally.
Left untreated, this build-up leads to gum inflammation, bleeding and eventually gum disease, one of the leading causes of tooth loss in adults. Receding gums, loose teeth and bone loss can all follow. A regular hygiene visit is the most effective way to stay ahead of it.

  • Professional removal of plaque and tartar
  • Surface stain removal for a brighter smile
  • Gum health assessment
